Delaire Graff Wine Estate Cape Town
I recently spent the day at not only my favorite wine farm, but also one of the most prestigious in the Western Cape. I had some friends here from Dubai, and decided to show them my side of the world in which I decided the perfect day out would be at Delaire Graff Wine Estate.
Owned by the great visionary Lawrence Graff, who is world renowned for his state of the art winery, restaurants, lodge and spa (not to mention the diamonds).
To start our day off we popped open a few bottles of Billecart – Salmon French Champagne accompanied by the warm sunshine and ice cold Oysters.
For mains, I had a tough decision between land and sea, but most of us went for the finest of Beef, paired with their Laurence Graff Reserve 2009, the award winning Cabernet Sauvignon. After many laughs out on the deck we indulged in a variety of the desserts, which included the most delicious Crème Brulée, a decadent Carrot Cake, and their special of the day which was a Beetroot Cake with the most remarkable flavours.
If you’re determined to splurge, this is a must!
